Health Volunteers Overseas

In partnership with PCEA Kikuyu Mission Hospital/School of Dental Sciences, University of Nairobi, the primary goal of the Health Volunteers Overseas project is to increase the number of oral and maxillofacial surgeons available to the increasing population in Kenya. Volunteers provide training to oral and maxillofacial surgery undergraduate and postgraduate students at the School of Dental Sciences at the University of Nairobi and also at the Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Campus of PCEA Kikuyu Hospital.

Dental Student Internship/Externship

These are temporary training programs organized by dental schools offered to students as part of a course of study.

Dental students from the University of Michigan (USA), University of Manchester, University of New Castle, University of Leads (UK), University of Nairobi, and Ludwig Macmillan University (Germany) have provided mission experiences to their students. We are eager to expand these opportunities.
